Donate Money

Our community is better positioned to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies when we look out for each other. Few of us have extra time to volunteer so we choose to make a financial gift to support those who aid the clients.

Thank you!

With the proper financial resources, our staff and volunteers efficiently help families and communities to recover from catastrophe. If you are like many others, though, you think about making a gift to the American Red Cross when an urgent appeal is issued. But your help is even stronger when you give to the local Red Cross during ordinary times, so the agency can focus on providing relief during the crisis.

Your Gift at Work
Contributions to the Greater Steuben Chapter American Red Cross enables us to support our extensive volunteer organization and to provide vital services to New Yorkers in need. Thousands of dedicated men, women and young adults serve as Red Cross volunteers. They respond to calls all over Steuben County and teach courses, ranging from the fundamentals of first-aid to highly sophisticated lifesaving methods, assist with community outreach and education, provide logistic support and much more.

EXCEPTIONAL STEWARDS

Accountability and integrity are hallmarks of our chapter. As a group led by more than 400 volunteers and 7 paid employees, we recognize the value—and the role—of other community-based organizations in fulfilling our mission. We collaborate with them to expand the impact of all humanitarian organizations. Although chartered by the United States Congress to provide relief to disaster victims and service to members and their families of the Armed Forces, the American Red Cross is not a government agency.
